Tonight, the SeaWolves look for their third consecutive win as they take on the Trenton Thunder (New York Yankees) in the middle game of a three-game series at Jerry Uht Park. Last night, the 'Wolves picked up their third shutout win of the season with a 1-0 victory over Trenton. Erie's pitching staff has allowed just one run over its last 22.2 innings pitched. Erie has won six of its last eight home games and with a win tonight, can win its third straight home series...Righty L.J. Gagnier takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his eighth start of the season and first against Trenton. Gagnier took his second loss in his last start at Altoona on May 12. In the game, he allowed a season-high seven runs, six earned, on six hits with three walks and two strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work. Gagnier has worked at least five innings in all but one start this season...Left hander Shaeffer Hall takes the mound for Trenton. Hall is making his eighth start. He took a loss in his last start and has dropped two of his last three. In his last start against Reading, Hall allowed five runs, four earned, on 10 hits with a walk and two strikeouts in five innings. Opponents are hitting .276 off of Hall this season...The SeaWolves are two games below .500, 1.5 games behind EL West leading Altoona. The entire Western Division is separated by just two games...Erie has the second-best home record in the division...Trenton is second in the league with a 3.07 ERA and last in the league with a .229 team batting average. Trenton is 5-12 on the road following last night's loss to the 'Wolves...Both the SeaWolves and Thunder are 6-4 in the last 10 games...
