Tonight, the SeaWolves look for their third consecutive win as they take on the Richmond Flying Squirrels (San Francisco Giants) in the second game of a four game series at Jerry Uht Park. Last night, the 'Wolves struck early and held on for a 4-2 win over the Squirrels, winning their second straight game. The win was Erie's fourth against Richmond and 61st of the season. The SeaWolves are hitting .260 as a team over their last 10 games and .258 in the last five. Eight of the 11 games between Erie and Richmond have been decided by three runs or fewer...Righty Anthony Shawler takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his 27th appearance and 11th start. It is his third appearance and first start against Richmond. Shawler took a loss in his last start at Akron allowing six runs, five earned on eight hits in 5.2 innings of work. He did not allow a walk for the second consecutive start and he struck out a season-high seven. Shawler is 1-0 with a 2.08 ERA in two outings against Richmond...Righty Craig Westcott takes the mound for the Flying Squirrels making his 11th start and second against the SeaWolves. He took a no-decision against Erie on July 2 allowing two runs on five hits with two walks and three strikeouts in six innings. He dropped his last start to Altoona allowing two runs on five hits in five innings with three walks and four strikeouts.
