Tonight, the SeaWolves look to snap a four-game slide as they take on the Richmond Flying Squirrels (San Francisco Giants) in the second game of a four-game series at Jerry Uht Park. Last night, the SeaWolves took a 2-1 lead into the sixth inning but gave up runs in three straight innings and went on to drop the series opener 4-3... Lefty Josh Turley takes the mound for Erie making his 18th start and third against Richmond. Turley earned a win in his first start against the Squirrels on May 18 but took a loss in Richmond on June 14. All four runs he allowed on June 14 came in the first inning and he then went on to toss six shutout frames. Turley had his four-game win streak snapped in his last start against Akron on July 19. In the game, he allowed seven runs on six hits with three walks and six strikeouts in a season-low four innings of work. Erie lost the game 8-6 and it was Turley's first lost since June 14... Lefty Adalberto Mejia takes the mound for Richmond making his ninth start and first against Erie. Mejia has lost his last two games. In his last start against Altoona on July 18, Mejia allowed two runs on seven hits with two walks and four strikeouts in six innings.
