----- Tonight, the SeaWolves return home to open a six-game homestand and a three-game series against the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals) at Jerry Uht Park. Last night, the SeaWolves dropped their second straight one-run game as they were swept by the Wild Card leading Bowie Baysox. The Senators also suffered a series sweep to Akron heading into this series. Both the SeaWolves and Senators have dropped their last four games...Tonight, righty Jared Gayhart takes the mound for Erie making his 32nd appearance, sixth start and fourth appearance against the Senators. He has struck out eight hitters in two of his last three starts and has struck out at least five in all of his starts. Gayhart took a no-decision in his last start against Portland on August 10. In the game, he allowed two runs on six hits with no walks and eight strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work. Erie won the game 9-2...Right hander Ryan Perry takes the mound for Harrisburg making his 11th start and third against the SeaWolves. The former Detroit Tiger, Perry, is in his first season with the Nationals chain (traded to WASH in the off season). Perry took a loss in his last start against Binghamton on August 10. In the game, he allowed four runs on six hits with two walks and two strikeouts in 7.1 innings of work.
