ENTERING TONIGHT'S ACTION...

Tonight, the SeaWolves take the field in game one of a three-game series against the Bowie Baysox (Baltimore Orioles) at Jerry Uht Park. Tonight is the first of three series the two clubs will play in Erie. The SeaWolves swept the Baysox in a four-game series at Prince George's Stadium during the two clubs first series of the season. The ‘Wolves will look for five straight against the Baysox tonight and look to avoid losing three straight for the first time this season...The SeaWolves have dropped back-to-back series to Harrisburg and Binghamton and are 1-2 in series this season...LHP Jon Connolly has been promoted to Triple-A Toledo. Taking his place in the next turn in the rotation on Tuesday will be RHP Josh Rainwater who will be making his second start of the season...Tonight, leftie Danny Christensen takes the mound for the ‘Wolves making his first start against the Baysox. Christensen took a loss in his first outing of the season against Harrisburg on April 7 going 4.2 innings, allowing four runs on five hits. All four runs given up were on a pair of home runs...Christensen will be opposed by leftie Chris Waters who will be making his third start of the season and his second against Erie. He picked up a win in his last start against Reading going five shutout innings allowing just two hits with four strikeouts. Waters has not allowed a walk in eight innings pitched this season. In Waters first start against the ‘Wolves, he went three innings allowing a run on two hits with one strikeout.
