Tonight, the Erie SeaWolves get set for their fourth doubleheader of the season as they begin a four-game series against the Reading Fightin Phils at FirstEnergy Stadium. Erie is coming off of a series win in Trenton, taking two of three from the Thunder. The Fightin Phils enter tonight's game having taken two of a three against Harrisburg and winning three of their past four. Logan Shore will begin game one (suspended in the second inning due to rain on May 30) making his fourth career relief appearance. His last time out on June 4 against Altoona, Shore allowed two earned runs on four hits in six innings while walking a season-high four and striking out a season-high seven batters. In his only outing against Reading, the right-hander took the loss after surrendering a season-high five runs on six hits in a season-low 2.2 innings. Shore will be opposed by Jose Taveras, making just his fourth appearance and third start of 2019. Opponents are hitting .189 off of the right-hander in 10.2 innings. Trent Szkutnik toes the rubber in the tail end of the twin-bill, making his second start of the season. In his first start on June 2 versus Akron, Szkutnik allowed two runs on four hits in 3.1 innings. Bailey Falter goes in game two for Reading, coming off back-to-back losses in his past two starts. His last time out on June 4 at Akron, Falter was tagged for a season-high seven runs on 11 hits.
