(AKRON, OHIO - The summer is heating up at Canal Park as the Akron RubberDucks start a six-game homestand tonight at 7:05 p.m. against the Hartford Yard Goats. These six games have it all- a bobblehead giveaway, two fireworks shows, Bark in the Park, and more affordable family fun that will have fans excited and packing the park. From Dad Bods to Comicon, the RubberDucks have got you covered this week!

Tickets for the homestand start at $5 for advance purchase and fans can purchase tickets by stopping at the RubberDucks Box Office at Canal Park Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. through the end of the game, and Sundays it opens at 11 a.m. through game's end. Tickets are also available by calling 330-253-5151 or on www.akronrubberducks.com.

Downtown Akron Construction Update: Because of ongoing construction projects around downtown Akron, parking and driving may be affected. Please visit DriveAkron.com and Akronrubberducks.com for more road updates as the downtown construction project continues to progress.

Dad Bod Appreciation Night - Yes, you read that correctly. We're celebrating all things Dad Bod related. So tuck in your shirts, fire up your grills, and be ready to lose your remote in the couch cushions. It's Dad Bod Night!

T-Shirt Tuesday - Every Tuesday home game features a different t-shirt giveaway to the first 1,000 fans! Collect all nine themed shirts. This week, it's "Dad Bod" themed! Presented by Aaron's and First National Bank.

Bark in the Park - Bring your dog to the game! WHO LET THE DOGS OUT?!?! We encourage you to bring your good boy out to Canal Park for some fun. Don't worry, your dog is free of charge and will have their own seat.

Craft Beer Night - Every Wednesday a local craft brewery will feature its products at Canal Park.

MiLB Player of the Month Presentation - Ducks OF Ka'ai Tom will be honored before the game by Minor League Baseball and Uncle Ray's for winning the Eastern League's Player of the Month Award in May.

"I Scream For Ice Cream" Akron Screamers Night - The RubberDucks will become for this one-night event become the Akron Screamers, in honor of Canal Park's infamous 21 scoop ice cream sundae.

Charity Begins at Home - Julie Billiart School

Challenger Day - Gates open at 11:30 a.m. for the noon Challenger Day game, in its 21st year at Canal Park. It provides an opportunity for kids and adults with developmental disabilities to play a baseball game at Canal Park, and to meet and be cheered on by some of the RubberDucks players. Each participant will get to hit and play in the field, and get to experience what it is like to be a professional ballplayer for a day. Ages range from as young as seven to as old as 25.

Akron Children's Hospital's Family FUNday - Families can come early to play catch on the field, and post-game Kids Run the Bases, presented by FedEx Custom Critical!
