----- Tonight, the SeaWolves continue their brief road trip as they take on the Bowie Baysox (Baltimore Orioles) in the third game of a four game series at Prince George's Stadium. Erie's doubleheader woes continued on Tuesday night as they were swept in the twin bill by scores of 5-3 and 6-0. Erie record in doubleheaders is now 4-15 (odd number because game two of a DH was rained out)...The Baysox are currently in the drivers seat for the Western Division wildcard holding a three game lead over Richmond...Tonight, righty Patrick Cooper takes the mound for Erie making his 20th appearance, 13th start and third appearance against Bowie. Cooper took a loss in his last start against New Hampshire on August 8. In the game, he allowed four runs on eight hits with a walk and two strikeouts in seven innings of work. Erie lost the game 8-3...Lefty Rich Zagone takes the mound for Bowie making his 10th start and first against the SeaWolves. Zagone took a loss in his last outing against Altoona on August 9. In the game, he allowed six runs on six hits with a walk and two strikeouts in four innings of work. Zagone has spent time at three levels of the Orioles chain this season. He was 3-1 with a 2.91 ERA with Class-A Frederick and 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA in two appearances with Triple-A Norfolk.
