ENTERING TONIGHT'S ACTION...
Tonight, the SeaWolves look to snap a 10-game losing streak as they continue a six-game road trip against the Binghamton Mets (New York Mets) at NYSEG Stadium. The 'Wolves fell on Thursday to the Bowie Baysox as they were limited to just three hits and were no-hit over the last six innings of the game. The 10-game slide is the longest current losing streak in the Eastern League. The SeaWolves have also dropped 14 of their last 15 games and for the first time this season, are in last place in the Southern Division, 10 games behind first place Harrisburg...The B-Mets have won seven of their last 10 and four straight. They won an extra innings affair on Thursday 7-6 over New Britain...RHP Andrew Kown returns to the starting rotation after making one appearance as a reliever. Kown takes the place of Ben Fritz in the rotation. Fritz has been placed on the disabled list with a sore right shoulder. Kown's last start came on May 6 against Trenton. In the game, he went six innings, allowing three runs on four hits with two strikeouts and no walks...RHP Jose Sanchez takes the mound for the B-Mets. Sanchez picked up his first win since April 9 in his last outing against Connecticut. In the game, he went six innings, allowing a run on two hits with three walks and two strikeouts...Angel Castro has been added to the Erie roster from Class-A Lakeland. Castro was 2-1 with a 2.66 ERA and had four saves for the Flying Tigers in 16 appearances, all in relief.
