New Britain Rock Cats News Release


New Britain, CT - The New Britain Rock Cats game scheduled for 6:35 PM tonight at New Britain Stadium against the Portland Sea Dogs has been postponed due to rain. There is no make-up date determined yet.

With the skies scheduled to clear, the two Eastern League teams will resume action tomorrow with a Day/Night Doubleheader, with Game 1 starting at 1:05 PM. The nightcap will get off at 6:35 PM with both games being 7-inning affairs. Portland, the Eastern League affiliate of the 2007 World Champion Boston Red Sox, will be back at New Britain Stadium again on Sunday afternoon for the weekend series' finale.

Good seats remain available for all games on this, the Rock Cats 4th Homestand of the 2008 Season.
