HARRISBURG- The scheduled opener of a seven-game Altoona Curve road trip Friday evening at Harrisburg has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a 6:05 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday at Commerce Bank Park in Harrisburg.

Friday's postponement marks the fourth time in five days that the Curve will not be in action. After three consecutive postponements, Altoona took the field at Blair County Ballpark on Thursday, splitting a doubleheader against the Akron Aeros.

For Saturday's 6:05 p.m. twinbill, Altoona (15-23) is scheduled to send right-hander Josh Hill (3-3, 3.71) to the mound in game one and lefty Corey Hamman (0-5, 5.43) in the nightcap. Harrisburg (25-14) will counter with left-hander Cory VanAllen (2-0, 0.71) for the opener and righty Jordan Zimmermann (1-1, 2.92) in game two. Fans can listen to Saturday's games on flagship radio station Real Oldies 93.5 WHPA and the Curve Radio Network beginning at 5:50 p.m.
