Tonight, the SeaWolves look to snap a three-game losing streak as they take on the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates) in the third game of a four-game series at Blair County Ballpark. The ‘Wolves needs wins in the final two games to avoid a series loss. Last night, Altoona built a 6-1 lead and went on for a 6-2 win. The SeaWolves have now lost three consecutive and six of the last seven games against Altoona...Tonight, righty Jacob Turner takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his seventh start of the season and second against the Curve. Turner tossed six scoreless innings on Opening Day against the Curve in a no-decision. The Erie right hander picked up his first Double-A win in his last start against Akron on May 9. In the game, he allowed an unearned run on five hits with three walks and six strikeouts. It was the second time this season that Turner did not allow an earned run...Righty Michael Colla takes the mound for the Curve making his ninth appearance and fourth start of the season. Colla picked up a win against the SeaWolves in relief on April 10 tossing three innings, allowing a run on three hits with no walks and five strikeouts. Colla has taken no-decision in his last two starts. In his last outing against Harrisburg, Colla allowed a run on three hits with two walks and five strikeouts in five innings of work. Opponents are hitting .202 against Colla in 2011...The SeaWolves are looking to avoid dropping to four-games under .500 which is their low-water mark for the 2011 season.

- Altoona leads the season series over Erie 6-3. The SeaWolves and Curve meet 18 times in 2011. The two clubs are in a stretch of 10 consecutive games of the season series being played in Altoona. The Curve makes one more trip to Erie in July.

- Defensively, the SeaWolves have committed 37 errors which is second-most in the EL. Twice in the last three games, the SeaWolves have not committed an error.

- The SeaWolves are 12-11 in night games and 3-7 in day games.

- Erie's pitching staff is last in the league with a 4.55 team ERA. The SeaWolves have given up 170 runs which is the most allowed in the league.

- The SeaWolves are third in the EL with 167 runs scored.

- Erie's offense is second in the league with a .276 team batting average.

- The ‘Wolves are hitting .252 with RISP, .231 with two outs and RISP and .289 with runners on base.

- As a team, the SeaWolves are 7-for-28 with the bases loaded.

- The ‘Wolves are 4-10 on the road in 2011.

- Erie is 9-13 against the Western Division.

- Justin Henry leads the EL with a .367 batting average. Henry is hitting .486 in his last 10 games. In his last 11, Henry has 18 hits and six RBI along with six runs scored.

- Francisco Martinez is tied for the league lead with 25 runs scored.

- Michael Bertram is hitting .636 (14x22) against the Curve in seven games.
