Squirrels and Senators Postponed on Saturday

RICHMOND, VA - Due to persistent rain showers at The Diamond, the Flying Squirrels' scheduled game with the Harrisburg Senators was postponed on Saturday night. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, July 9th. The doubleheader will begin at 5:35 PM, and will consist of two seven-inning games.

Fans holding tickets for Saturday night's game may exchange them at the Flying Squirrels' box office for tickets of equal or lesser value to any remaining 2011 Flying Squirrels regular season home game at The Diamond.

The finale of the now abbreviated three-game series is scheduled for 2:05 PM on Sunday afternoon. RHP Daryl Maday (1-2, 3.00) will make the start for the Squirrels against RHP Tanner Roark (0-0, ---) for the Senators.
