ENTERING TONIGHT'S ACTION...

Tonight, the SeaWolves begin a seven-game road trip as they take the field in game one of a three-game series against the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates) at Blair County Ballpark. The SeaWolves are coming off of a 5-2 homestand and are in third place in the Southern Division, 4.5 games behind first place Akron. Erie fell on Wednesday morning to the Baysox 6-1, in a game exclusively pitched by the bullpen due to a late scratch with starter Alfredo Figaro...After beginning the season 6-0 against the Curve, Erie has dropped its last two, both in Altoona...The Curve finished up their series against Reading on Thursday with a 12-7 win over the R-Phils. The ‘Wolves are 5-5 in their last 10 while Altoona is 4-6...Righty Brooks Brown takes the mound for the SeaWolves, making his fourth start of the season and third against the Curve. He is 1-0 with a no-decision in two starts against Altoona. Brown picked up a win in his last start against Harrisburg going 5.2 shutout innings, allowing three hits with no walks and three strikeouts. He is the Eastern League's top pitcher and has yet to yield a run in 17.2 innings pitched...Lefty Daniel Moskos makes his fifth appearance, fourth start and third appearance against Erie tonight. He took a loss in his last outing against Akron on April 25. In the game, Moskos went 6.1 innings, allowing four runs on six hits with a pair of walks and a strikeout. He defeated Erie on April 19 going six innings, allowing a pair of runs on eight hits with a walk and a season-high five strikeouts...This is the second of three series between Erie and Altoona at Blair County Ballpark. Erie will return to BCB in early July.
