Tonight, the SeaWolves look for back-to-back wins as they take on the Akron RubberDucks (Cleveland Indians) in the second game of a four-game series at Canal Park. Last night, the SeaWolves belted out 14 runs on 15 hits en route to a 14-4 win over the Ducks. Erie has now won five straight and seven of the last eight against Akron...Akron can clinch the Western Division Wild Card spot with a win or a Bowie loss... RHP Wilsen Palacios takes the mound for the SeaWolves in making his 26th appearance, 25th start and fifth start against the Ducks. Palacios is 3-0 with a no-decision in his previous four starts against Akron. Palacios earned a win in his last start against Bowie despite a rocky first inning. In the top of the first, Palacios allowed seven runs but settled down and tossed four scoreless innings. He allowed seven runs on 11 hits with two walks and three strikeouts. Erie won the game 10-7...RHP Cody Anderson takes the mound for Akron making his 24th start and fifth against Erie. Anderson is 0-3 with a no-decision and a 9.68 ERA in his previous four starts against the "˜Wolves. Anderson took a loss in his last start against Trenton on August 25 allowing seven runs on eight hits with three walks and a strikeout in four innings of work.
