NORFOLK, VA - November 10, 2015 - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, pay their first visit to the Norfolk Scope Arena for tonight's meeting with the Norfolk Admirals.

MAGNIFYING THE MATCHUP
The Jackals finish their three-game road trip in Norfolk, Virginia with their first ever meeting with the Norfolk Admirals. Tonight's game marks the first of eight meetings overall and the first of three at the Norfolk Scope Arena this season. Norfolk, like Adirondack and Manchester, transitioned from AHL markets to join the ECHL this past off-season. The Admirals, Thunder and Monarchs are three new East Division rivals for the Jackals, with the Reading Royals filling out the newly formed division.
FAST FACTS
? Forward Mike Seidel has scored in three consecutive road games and has four goals in the last five contests. The Darien, IL native was the Jackals leading scorer last season with 23 goals and 42 points.
? Forward Tyler Currier has made an instant impression on his new squad with three goals in four games since he was acquired from Orlando on October 24th. He is tied for the best shooting percentage in the ECHL at 60.0% (3-for-5).
? Rookie goaltender C.J. Motte recorded his first professional shutout on Friday night with a 32-save performance in South Carolina. The 2-0 victory was also Motte's first win as a Jackal and second professional win.
? Rookie forward Cason Hohmann is tied for fourth among first-year skaters with nine points through nine games. Hohmann's nine points and six assists also lead the Jackals.
