Moose Jaw Warriors News Release
Hockey Canada is in the process of making its cuts for the final team at the World Junior Hockey ChampionshipAmong those released was Moose Jaw Warriors Defenseman Keaton Ellerby. Ellerby's tough physical play was noticed by Hockey Canada in the off-season as he also attended the World Junior Summer evaluation camp.
Although Warrior fans are saddened that they will not be able to watch him on the blue line for Canada over the Christmas break, they are excited to be having such a talented player return to the Tribe's lineup. Ellerby will return to the Friendly city today and begin preparing with his teammates for this weekends home & home with the Regina Pats.
