Brandl and Germany remain undefeated at WJC

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - Team Germany, including Prince Albert Raiders centre Max Brandl, improved their round robin record to 4-0 at the World Under 20 Championships, B Pool, in Bad Tolz, Germany today with an 11-1 victory over the Ukraine. Brandl had an assist in today's game.

Brandl scored a goal and was the Player of the Game in Germany's opening 7-1 win over Lithuania Sunday. Monday Germany defeated Poland 11-0 followed by a 7-1 win over Norway yesterday.

Team Germany will take on Austria Saturday in their final round robin game in a match featuring two teams that are 4-0 at the tournament. Medal games are Sunday.

Brandl is expected to return to the Raiders lineup Thursday, December 27th when they host the Saskatoon Blades.
