
Eight Warriors Prospects Suiting up at Circle K Classic

The Moose Jaw Warriors will be well represented on teams at the 2023 Circle K Classic.
The annual under-18 tournament gets underway on Tuesday in Calgary, Alberta, featuring 32 teams from Canada, the United States and Europe.
Josh Banini, Ethan Hughes and Spencer Masters will be hitting the ice with the Edmonton Junior Oilers Blue at the tournament.
Banini, an eighth round selection by the Warriors in 2021, is 4-2-0 this season with a 2.00 goals against average and a 0.928 save percentage in six games.
Hughes, a 2021 fourth round pick, has four goals and 10 points in 24 games this season with the Oilers Blue. He has also scored once in four games with the Warriors.

In 24 games this season with Edmonton, Masters has five goals and 13 points. Masters was a ninth round pick by Moose Jaw in 2021.
The Oilers Blue will face St. Albert on Tuesday, the Vancouver NW Hawks on Wednesday and the Burlington Eagles on Thursday during the round robin.
Max Finley and the Okanagan Rockets take on the Calgary Royals on Tuesday, Phoenix Jr. Coyotes on Wednesday and Shawnigan on Thursday.
Finley, a 2022 second round pick by the Warriors, has six goals and 13 points in 19 games this season with the Rockets.
Noah Degenstein, the Warriors' other second round pick in 2022, will be at the tournament with the Airdrie CFR Bisons.
Degenstein has three goals and 10 points in 21 games with the Bisons this season.

Airdrie squares off South Kent School on Tuesday, the Regina Pat Canadians on Wednesday and Yale Hockey Academy on Thursday.
The Pat Canadians feature Warriors prospect Noel Englot, who has 10 goals and 28 points in 26 games this season in the Saskatchewan Male Under-18 AAA Hockey League.
Englot and the Pat Canadians open the tournament against Yale on Tuesday and finish against South Kent on Thursday.
Preston Baerwald and the Saskatoon Blazers will be on the ice against the South Alberta Hockey Academy on Tuesday, St. Louis on Wednesday and the Calgary Northstars on Thursday.
Baerwald, an eighth round pick in 2022, has five goals and 12 points in 28 games this season.
Owen Berge will be at the tournament with the Northern Alberta Xtreme, who open up against Lloydminster on Tuesday, then face Okotoks on Wednesday and Bishop Kearney on Thursday.
Berge, a third round selection in 2021, has six goals and 18 points in 18 games this season with the Northern Alberta Xtreme.
The 2023 Circle K Classic runs from Dec. 27 until Jan. 1.
