
ECHL's All-Time Leading Scorer, Rod Taylor, Joins Storm

(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm of the East Coast Hockey League today announced that the organization has signed left wing, Rod Taylor. Taylor is expected to be in uniform for Toledo's game tonight against the Dayton Bombers at the E.J. Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio.
Taylor, 5'10/185 (36), is in his twelfth season of professional hockey. The Lake Orion, Michigan, has played more ECHL games than any player in the league's history (696) and is the ECHL's all-time leading scorer with 368 goals and 689 points entering play this evening. Taylor, who has been a member of two ECHL championship teams (Hampton Roads Admirals, 1992 and 1998), was named as the first-team left wing on the ECHL 15th Anniversary Team announced today by the league.
The Storm takes on the Dayton Bombers in the back end of a home-and-home series tonight in Dayton. The game broadcast can be heard live on WCWA 1230 am in Toledo and on the internet at www.toledostorm.com.
