Renegades to Skate with Vision Impaired Kids

Richmond, VA - The Richmond Renegades will skate with vision impaired children from around central Virginia Monday, March 24 starting at 12 PM at the 'Gades practice rink SkateNation Plus in Short Pump.

For the second straight year the 'Gades will skate with kids from Sam's Mobility Club, an organization that provides a variety of activities for vision impaired young people from Richmond and surrounding counties.

"This was a very enjoyable and meaningful event for our players last year," said Renegades General Manager Paul Gamsby. "We are very pleased and honored for our players to have the chance to interact with the Sam's Mobility Club kids," Gamsby added.

The Renegades close the 2002-'03 season with home games Saturday, March 29 vs. Charlotte at 7:35 and Sunday, March 30 vs. Roanoke at 5:05. Tickets are available at the Coliseum Box Office and all TicketMaster locations. For more information please call the Renegades at 643-7825.
