ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Sunday announced the following fines and suspensions.

Florida's Gimblett fined, suspended

Florida's Tyson Gimblett has been suspended for five games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #588, Florida at Gwinnett, on March 1.

Gimblett is suspended under Rule #70.10 - leaving the player's bench. He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Gimblett will miss Florida's games at Gwinnett (March 2), vs. Orlando (March 4), vs. Gwinnett (March 7 and March 8) and at Fort Wayne (March 14).

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Florida's Bogosian and Della Rovere, Gwinnett's Currie fined

Florida's Aaron Bogosian and Stefan Della Rovere and Gwinnett's Josh Currie have each been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of their actions in ECHL Game #588, Florida at Gwinnett, on March 1.

All three players are fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Idaho's Cullity fined, suspended

Idaho's Patrick Cullity has been suspended pending a review and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #592, Idaho at Las Vegas, on March 1.

Cullity is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline as a result of his actions at 12:00 of the second period.

Cullity will miss Idaho's game at Bakersfield today (March 2) and any further discipline will be announced later this week.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
