TRENTON, NJ (February 24, 2009) - The ECHL's Trenton Devils have announced that defenseman Matt Cohen has been recalled to the American Hockey League's Lowell Devils. The announcement was made by Lowell and Trenton Devils' General Manager Chris Lamoriello.

A native of New York City, Cohen was selected to play in last month's ECHL All-Star Game. The graduate of Yale University is fourth among ECHL defensemen in scoring with 36 points (11g, 25a). He leads ECHL defensemen with 10 power play goals.

This will be the second stint in Lowell for Cohen, who notched 22 points (5g, 17a) while playing in all 72 games in his first full season of professional hockey with Trenton in 2007-08. After the conclusion of Trenton's season, Cohen finished off his year in Lowell, playing in three games.

The Devils return to action tonight against the Wheeling Nailers, with the puck drop scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available by logging onto the Devils' official website, www.trentondevils.com.
