
Bakersfield's Painchaud Named In Glas Co ECHL Player Of The Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Chad
Painchaud of the Bakersfield Condors is the In Glas Co ECHL Player of the
Week for Feb 16-22.
The 22 year old had five goals and 10 points to help the Condors go 3-0-1
and improve to 8-1-1 in their last 10 games.
He had four points (2g-2a) and scored the tying goal and assisted on the
game-winning goal in a 6-5 come-from-behind win at Utah on Wednesday, and
scored a goal in a 4-3 shootout loss to Victoria on Saturday. He scored the
game-winning goal and set a career high with five points while tying his
career best with three assists in a 5-2 win against Victoria on Sunday.
Selected in the fourth round (106th overall) by the Atlanta Thrashers in
the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, the 6-foot-1 and 190-pound right wing is
second in the league with a career-high 44 assists and fourth with a
career-best 64 points in 56 games. He is tied for the league lead in
February with 11 goals and is also tied for the ECHL lead, with teammate Mark
Derlago (9g-12a), with 21 points in 12 games.
The native of Mississauga, Ontario, who is under contract to Iowa of the
American Hockey League, played for Gwinnett in his first two seasons and
had 67 points (30g-37a) in 82 regular season games and six points (0g-6a)
in eight Kelly Cup Playoff games. He also played in the AHL in 2007-08 and
had three points (1g-2a) in 22 games for Chicago.

hockey organization by In Glas Co, the exclusive puck
supplier of the ECHL. Since beginning its sponsorship of the award in
2000-01, In Glas
Co has donated more than 20,000 pucks to youth hockey organizations
in ECHL cities.
