
Eagles Waive Lacerte

Sydney-The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles have placed goaltender Francois Lacerte on Quebec Major Junior Hockey League waivers effective Friday October 29 at 4:00 pm.
Under QMJHL rules any 19 year-old player not on a team's active roster must be placed on waivers.
Each team in the QMJHL will have an opportunity to claim Lacerte beginning with the team with the least amount of points as of the current standings.
The waiver period for Lacerte will end on Tuesday November 2, 2010.
Any team claiming Lacerte from waivers has 48 hours to sign him.
Lacerte was acquired from the Acadie-Bathurst Titan this past off-season. In 12 games with the Screaming Eagles, the Trois Rivieres, Quebec native compiled a 4-7-0-1 record with 3.12 goals against average and a .888 save percentage.
The Screaming Eagles now have Andrew Hayes and Alexandre Veronneau as goaltenders on their active roster.
