Eagles Sign Astles, St-Amant Recalled to San Antonio

WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, announced Tuesday that they have signed forward Jessey Astles to a contract, while forward Shawn St-Amant has been recalled by the team's AHL affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage.

Astles appeared in 18 ECHL games with the Stockton Thunder and Allen Americans during the 2014-15 season. In addition, the 23 year-old spent five seasons in the WHL with the Kelowna Rockets, Saskatoon Blades and Tri-City Americans, posting 38 points and 351 penalty minutes in 229 contests. Astles also participated in the training camp of the NHL's Minnesota Wild in 2014. In one preseason game with Colorado this year, Astles scored a goal and recorded a fighting major against the Rapid City Rush.

St-Amant appeared in two games with the Eagles, recording a pair of shots on goal in those contests.
