March 22, 2013 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Syracuse Crunch News Release

Syracuse, NY - Former Syracuse goaltender Dustin Tokarski blanked the Crunch 1-0 tonight at the War Memorial Arena.

Tokarski stopped all 40 shots he faced in the first meeting between the Crunch and Bulldogs since they exchanged goaltenders on Feb. 14, 2013. Crunch netminder Riku Helenius blocked 24 of 25 shots in the loss, snapping a three-game personal win streak.

With the loss the Crunch fall to 38-18-3-5 but continue to lead the Eastern Conference with 84 points.

After two scoreless periods Alex Belzile scored the lone goal of the game with 9:50 remaining in the third period. Belzile, playing in his first career AHL game, scored off a centering pass from Michael Bournival, with the secondary assist going to Joe Stejskal.

Each team's penalty kill unit performed perfectly, with the Crunch holding the Bulldogs power play scoreless on three chances and Hamilton halting four Crunch man-advantages.
