Durham Bulls Game Notes
September 6, 2015 - International League (IL1)
Durham Bulls News Release
Norfolk Tides (77-65) vs. Durham Bulls (73-69); 5:05 p.m.
RHP Tyler Wilson (5-5, 3.05) vs. LHP Scott Diamond (11-5, 3.62)
The Bulls play the second game of their final series of the season against the Norfolk Tides at the DBAP. Durham has won six of its last seven, and is 14-3 over its last 17 games, but has still dropped 42 of its previous 76 contests to go from a 2.0-game lead in the IL South to a 4.0-game deficit. Norfolk - the Baltimore Orioles' top affiliate - has lost five of its last seven, and is just 4-10 over its last 14. Still, with one win over the season's final two days, or one Gwinnett loss over the season's final two days, Norfolk will win the IL South and clinch its first playoff berth since 2005.
