Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
Down to their final two games of 2015, the IronPigs (63-79) play Game 2 of a three-game set against the second-place Rochester Red Wings (75-67) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 13-1 loss last night, the Pigs have dropped back-to-back contests and have fallen to 1-2 on this season-ending, five-game homestand. Despite dumping 16 of their last 26 affairs, the Pigs have posted a 41-37 record since reaching their low-water mark on June 13 (22-42)... The Red Wings -- Minnesota's top affiliate -- have now won back-to-back games and improved to 4-1 at Coca-Cola Park this season. The Wings, who were eliminated from postseason contention on Thursday, are 14-7 since Aug. 15... The Pigs and Wings haven't met since they split a four-game series at Frontier Field from July 16-19.
RHP Miguel A. Gonzalez (0-1, 15.00) will start for LHV against RHP Michael Bowden (10-5, 2.68).
