Norfolk Tides (77-64) vs. Durham Bulls (72-69); 6:35 p.m.

LHP Chris Jones (8-7, 2.96) vs. RHP Bradin Hagens (4-5, 2.97)

The Bulls open their final series of the season with the first of three games against the Norfolk Tides at the DBAP. Durham has won five of its last six, and is 13-3 over its last 16 games, but has still dropped 42 of its previous 75 contests to go from a 2.0-game lead in the IL South to a 5.0-game deficit. Norfolk - the Baltimore Orioles' top affiliate - has lost four of its last six, and is just 4-9 over its last 13. Still, with a win tonight and a Gwinnett loss at home against Charlotte, Norfolk will win the IL South and clinch its first playoff berth since 2005.
