The Bulls play the opener of a short two-game set against the Louisville Bats, in the second series of a six-game, five-day road trip. Durham dropped 3-of-4 at Indianapolis to open the road trip, has dropped six of its last eight, is 6-12 over its last 18, and is just 11-22 since the All-Star break. The Bulls have dropped 38 of their last 56 contests to go from a 2.0-game lead in the IL South to a 13.0-game deficit, the team's largest deficit of the season. Louisville - the Cincinnati Reds' top affiliate - is 2-8 over its last 10, and snapped a six-game losing skid with a win over Norfolk last night.
