The Bulls play the finale of a three-game set against the Gwinnett Braves in the first series of a season-long 10-game homestand. Durham is 1-5 over its last six games, is 3-10 over its last 13, and is just 5-12 since the All-Star break. The Bulls have dropped 28 of their last 41 contests to go from a 2.0-game lead in the IL South to a 10.5-game deficit, tied for their largest division deficit of the season. Gwinnett - the Atlanta Braves' top affiliate - is 10-6 since the All-Star break, but is 9-3 over its last 12 contests. Today marks the sixth straight game between the two teams, with Gwinnett taking four of the first five.
