The Bulls play game two of a three-game home series against the Gwinnett Braves in the final series before the All-Star break. Durham is 5-4 in July, but has still dropped 15 of its last 22 contests to go from a 2.0-game lead in the IL South to a 4.5-game deficit. Gwinnett - the Atlanta Braves' top affiliate - has won two straight after suffering through a six-game losing skid. Despite the losing streak, the G-Braves are still 7-6 over their last 13 after going on a five-game winning streak prior to the losing skid.
