Buffalo Bisons News Release
David Cory of Century Gold Standard of Williamsville, NY won the latest chance to throw out the first pitch at the Bisons game on July 11 against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders at Coca-Cola Field (7:05 p.m.) as the OnDeck Capital 'Small Business of the Month.'
OnDeck Capital is doing a contest once a month that gives the winner 10 VIP tickets, a first pitch, and a chance to promote their business. David Cory was the winner of the July contest and provided some insight on his business, Century Gold Standard.
Cory was inspired to become a realtor after working in mortgage lending for 10 years. His friends would ask for advice about purchasing homes, and he decided to make a career out of it. Century Gold Standard works with many first time home buyers. Not only do they help find a property that fits the needs and wants of their customers, they guide them through the financial process, as well. Cory was awarded Agent of the Month in January 2015 and made the top 100 realtors of 2015 as of June. Cory loves that he is able to see how much change Buffalo is undergoing right now. He says there are young buyers excited to leave the suburbs and move to up and coming neighborhoods in the city.
