Ducks Recall Kyle Palmieri

Syracuse, NY (March 12, 2012) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have recalled right wing Kyle Palmieri.

Palmieri, 21, has appeared in 11 games with the Ducks this season, recording two points (1g, 1a) and two penalty minutes. The Smithtown, NY native leads the AHL in goals scored and is tied for game-winning goals (7). In 42 games with the Crunch Palmieri has collected 54 points (32g, 22a). Palmieri was selected in the first round (26th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

The Crunch next play the Adirondack Phantoms on Wed. March 14 in Glens Falls, NY. The Crunch will return home to face the Rochester Americans on March 16.
