FIRST AND FIFTEEN
With 15 games remaining in the regular season, the Wolves share second place in the Midwest Division with 71 points (33-23-2-3) and trail first-place Charlotte by one point, but the Checkers hold one game in hand; Chicago is tied for second place with Peoria, but the Wolves hold two games in hand on the Rivermen.
WOLVES HEADLINES
--- MIKE DUCO: Paced the team with 3 assists and 4 points in three games last week, which included dishing out a career-high 3 helpers on Saturday ... Prior to this season, he never had a multiple-assist game but has three this year ... Ranks seventh on Chicago with 10 goals and ninth with 22 points in 50 games this season ... Dished out two assists, which included his first NHL point (A) on Jan. 10 at Tampa Bay, in six contests with the Canucks spanning two recalls this year
--- EDDIE LACK: Saw his three-game winning streak snapped in a 4-0 shutout loss on Sunday ... Has surrendered just 21 goals in his last 13 appearances, which includes two shutouts, and has posted a 1.61 goals-against average and .951 save percentage during that span (8-5-0) ... Ranks second in the league with a .927 save percentage and shares sixth in the AHL with a 2.28 goals-against average in 37 games this year (17-16-3)
--- BYRON BITZ: Posted 3 points (PPG, 2A) in three games last week, which included his first multiple-point outing of the year and the seventh of his AHL career on March 7 (2A) ... Accrued 4 assists and 6 points in 16 games this season in his first action since March 2010 after he missed the 2010-11 campaign due to injuries ... Registered 4 points (G, 3A) and 14 penalty minutes in eight games with the Canucks this year
--- DARREN HAYDAR: Passed Bob Nardella for fourth place on Chicago's all-time scoring register with 2 points (G, A) on Saturday ... Has tallied 299 points (102G, 197A) in 257 career games with the Wolves spanning four seasons (2006-08; 2010-present) ... Paces the Wolves with 30 assists and ranks second on the squad with 45 points in 56 contests this year ... Has bagged a goal in three of his last four games after not lighting the lamp once in his previous 18 outings
WOLF TRACKS
--- The Wolves will play North Division opponents in four of their next five games, which includes road tilts in Lake Erie on Saturday and Toronto on Sunday; Chicago has tallied a 5-1-1-0 mark against the North Division this year.
--- Chicago has posted a 3-4-1-0 mark in its last eight games and has scored 12 goals in its last three victories but have lit the lamp just twice in its last five defeats, which includes being shut out three times.
--- Chicago has failed to score more than two goals in 15 of goaltender EDDIE LACK's 19 total losses this year (0-12-3); the 24-year-old netminder has posted a 6-12-3 mark when receiving two or fewer goals of support this season.
--- The Wolves have surrendered six power-play goals in their last seven road tilts, which includes allowing one on four chances Sunday; Chicago ranks 10th in the AHL with an 83.3 efficiency rating on the penalty kill this season (195 of 234).
--- The Wolves bagged two power-play goals on four chances Saturday, the first time since Dec. 29, 2011, they have scored multiple man-advantage markers in a contest; Chicago shares 29th in the AHL with a 14.1 efficiency rating on the power play this season (37 of 263).
GREEN EGGS AND HAM
--- For the 16th straight season, the Wolves will wear special St. Patrick's Day jerseys, presented by Jewel-Osco, at home games on Wednesday, March 14; Saturday, March 24; and Sunday, March 25. Fans can bid on the green jerseys worn by their favorite players in a silent auction, with the exception of five, four of which will be available in a raffle and the other through a blind auction. --- The Wolves trailed 1-0 halfway through the first period but rattled off four straight goals en route to a 5-2 Amtrak Rivalry victory over the Milwaukee Admirals at the Allstate Arena

--- Goaltender EDDIE LACK posted 25 saves
