Today's Game: The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Fort Wayne TinCaps (affiliate of the San Diego Padres) in the last game of a three-game series.

Last Game: Sunday: Fort Wayne 7, Dayton 1. The TinCaps scored three runs in the second inning and three more in the fourth to take a 6-0 lead on the way to drawing even in the series heading into Monday night's finale. The Dragons had just five hits including two by Jay Schuyler.

B-Rey Bombs: Dragons outfielder Brian Rey broke the club record for most RBI in a game on Saturday at Fort Wayne, driving in eight runs. He hit two home runs including a grand slam and also contributed a three-run double. The previous record of seven RBI was held by four players including Joey Votto and Adam Dunn. Rey had matched the record by the end of the second inning and broke it in the fourth with a solo homer.

Lodolo's First Start: Nick Lodolo, the Cincinnati Reds 2019 first round draft pick, made his Midwest League debut for the Dragons as the starting pitcher Thursday, becoming the 18th first round pick to play for the Dragons. He worked three innings, allowing one run on three hits with no walks and five strikeouts. Lodolo played at TCU and was a 2019 2nd Team All-American. Lodolo's next scheduled start is Tuesday night in Dayton.

Team Notes

The Dragons have lost six of their last seven games on the heels of six wins in seven games.

The Dragons have scored 28 runs over their last eight games. Of the 28 runs, 14 came in one game on Saturday, and 13 came in the first two innings of that game.

Since May 24, Michael Siani has played in 52 games and is batting .303 with 22 stolen bases. Since May 24, he ranks fifth in the MWL in batting average, tied for second in the MWL in hits, and first in runs scored and stolen bases.
