- The Dragons will be returning home from a three game road trip during which they faced off against the West Michigan Whitecaps in Grand Rapids, Michigan. - Dragons shortstop Billy Hamilton leads all of professional baseball with 22 stolen bases. Dayton pitcher Josh Smith, with 43 strikeouts, leads the Midwest League.
- Dragons starting pitcher Daniel Corcino has pitched brilliantly over his last four starts, winning each of them. In those four outings, he has thrown 22 innings, allowed just four earned runs, struck out 26 batters and walked just six. He is scheduled to start on Tuesday.
- Former major leaguer Delino DeShields leads the squad as the Dragons manager in 2011. He is in his third season in the Reds organization, having served as the manager of the Billings Mustangs last year and as the hitting coach in Billings in 2009. Tony Fossas is in his third season as pitching coach, and Alex Pelaez works in his first year as the team ¬â¢s hitting coach.
