January 15, 2011 - ECHL (ECHL)
Greenville Swamp Rabbits News Release
GREENVILLE, SC -It's a great day for hockey in Greenville with a college/professional double-header taking place today. There is even a free concert between games as part of the festivities!
At 3:00 today the Clemson Tigers ACHA club hockey team kicks off the action with a regular season game against the Tennessee Volunteers. It's the second time this season the Tigers have played at the BI-LO Center after beating the South Carolina Gamecocks on November 5. Anyone who has a ticket to the Road Warriors game later in the day can use it for admission to the Clemson - Tennessee game, as well. There is a no re-entry policy from the BI-LO Center in effect for the day so be sure to stick around after the Clemson game.
You wouldn't want to leave, even if you could, because Doug Jones of the Greenville-base band Cravin' Melon will be performing a free concert from 5:30 to 7:00 on the BI-LO Center concourse. The stage will be set up behind Section 106 near the doors to the outside smoking area. The arena concession stands will remain open as well so you can get some food and drinks while you enjoy the music and wait for the Road Warriors and Wings to start.
Don't forget that groups of 10 or more are eligible for discounts off of the box office price, preferred seating based on availability, and other great benefits. Group seating is still available for today's game, but seats are going fast. Call 864-674-PUCK to speak to a Road Warriors gropu sales representative.
