HICKORY, NC - After the Crawdads take on the Power in a four-game series in West Virginia starting tonight, Hickory returns home to host the Lexington Legends for the final home series of the 2012 regular season from Tuesday, Aug. 28 - Thursday, Aug. 30! Below are the details on all the upcoming FUN, including the brand-new Whacky Washington Wednesday promotion.
Dollar Day on Tuesday, Aug. 28
The 'Dads and Legends kick off next week's series with Dollar Day, presented by 1290 WHKY, and a 7 p.m. First Pitch! All fans can buy one ticket to this game and get a second Grandstand Ticket for just a buck! Also, numerous delicious concessions items will be only $1 each, including hot dogs, Pepsis, popcorn and more! Gates will open at 6 p.m.
Whacky Washington Wednesday and Unemployment Night on Wednesday, Aug. 29
We've gone totally whacky at L.P. Frans Stadium, so much so that all fans that pass through the gates at Wednesday's 7 p.m. game will receive $1 cash just for coming! There will also be crazy characters at the ballpark to make things even whackier for the first-ever Whacky Washington Wednesday!
Wednesday is also Unemployment Night, presented by Manpower. All fans that present an NCESC-issued debit card or printed online statement can get four FREE tickets to the game! Gates will open at 6 p.m.
Thirsty Thursday and YOUR chance to win $200 cash on Thursday, Aug. 30
Don't miss the final Thirsty Thursday FUN during the last home game of the 2012 regular season, presented by Buffalo Wild Wings. Enjoy $1 can beers and Pepsis throughout the game, and stick around for a post-game concert with Banned on Wednesday!
Thursday will also feature the second-annual Battle of the Bags Cornhole Tournament before the 7 p.m. game. The tournament will start at 6 p.m. with a grand prize of $200 cash for the 1st-place team! The 2nd-place team will receive a custom-made Cornhole set, courtesy of Brahma Graphx, while the team that comes in 3rd will win their registration fee back.
