
"Dollar Day" at Blair County Ballpark Tuesday

ALTOONA- The Altoona Curve have an unprecedented deal for fans interested in attending Tuesday's 6:35 p.m. game against the Akron Aeros (AA/Cleveland Indians) at Blair County Ballpark. For the first time in franchise history, tickets will be available for as low as just $1.
Fans can purchase their dollar tickets for Tuesday's game in the Grandstand (300 Level) and UPMC Health Plan Home Run Junction (Outfield Reserved Bleachers) in one of the following ways:
- In person, by visiting the Blair County Ballpark Ticket Office starting at 9 a.m.
- Over the phone, by calling (814) 943-5400 or (877) 99-CURVE
- On-line, by logging on to AltoonaCurve.com and clicking one of the "BUY TICKETS" links
In addition to the dollar ticket promotion, the first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a FREE Recyclable Grocery Bag presented by Lakemont Park. The Curve will also make fans more aware of the environment on "Going Green Night". Ballpark gates will open at 5:20 for Curve Season Ticket Holders and 5:30 for the general public.
The current Curve homestand will conclude Wednesday morning at 10:35 a.m. on the club's first "School Kids Day" at Blair County Ballpark. The next set of home games will take place from Tuesday, April 29th to Sunday, May 4th, featuring such promotions as "$1 Hot Dog Night" (April 29), Women's Purple Visor Giveaway (May 2), Fireworks (May 3) and Youth Baseball Clinic and Wooden Bat Giveaway (May 4).
