Montreal, Apr. 12, 2006 - The Montreal Alouettes will select a few players from the Ottawa Renegades' roster in this afternoon's dispersal draft, to be held at 4 p.m.

Montreal has had some success in previous such drafts. In the 1997 Ottawa Rough Riders dispersal draft, the Alouettes picked up Uzooma Okeke, Swift Burch, Michael Hendricks, Robert Stevenson and David Harper. A cornerstone of Montreal's offensive line, Okeke has been with the Alouettes ever since, and Burch played 92 games with the team from 1997 to 2001.
