
Hamilton and Saskatchewan complete major trade

TORONTO, ON - April 12, 2006 - The Canadian Football League (CFL) announced today that the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Saskatchewan Roughriders completed a major trade in advance of the Ottawa Player Dispersal Draft. The Roughriders have acquired the rights to the first overall selection in today's draft and the rights to a player from the Tiger-Cats negotiation list. In return, Hamilton has acquired import running back Corey Holmes, non-import defensive back Scott Gordon, the rights to a player on Saskatchewan's negotiation list and a first round selection in the 2007 CFL Canadian Draft.
The updated draft order for the first round (only) in today's Dispersal Draft is as follows:
