Devils Sign Defenseman Jagger Dirk to Ato

BINGHAMTON, NY - The Binghamton Devils announced that the club has signed defenseman Jagger Dirk to an amateur tryout.

Dirk, 24, played the past four seasons at St. Francis Xavier University where he totaled 73 points (15 goals, 58 assists) in 114 games played. Dirk helped the X-Men advance all the way to the University Cup and was named to the Championship All-Star Team.

Prior to college, Dirk played five seasons with the Western Hockey League's Kootenay Ice and went all the way to the Memorial Cup in 2010-11 after winning the WHL Championship.

The Binghamton Devils are back home this Saturday, March 24, against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at 7:05 p.m. Help the Devils Faceoff Against Cancer and score a $16 ticket with proceeds going back to American Cancer Society. Also, all battleing or who have battled cancer can participate in the Survivors Lap during the first intermission.
