Stockton, Calif. - The Stockton Heat, proud AHL affiliate of the NHL's Calgary Flames, announced today that defenseman Kayle Doetzel has been recalled from the team's ECHL affiliate, the Kansas City Mavericks.
Doetzel, 22, has suited up in 48 games for Kansas City this season scoring 3 goals and adding 9 assists for 12 points on the year to go along with 3 games for the Stockton Heat.
Last season, Doetzel skated in 56 games for the Heat along with three games during the 2017 Pacific Division Semifinals matchup between the Heat and San Jose Barracuda.
