Trenton Devils News Release

READING, Pa. (November 26, 2008) -- Gerald Coleman made 29 saves in his Trenton Devils debut and earned his second shutout of the season as the Devils defeated the Reading Royals, 1-0, Wednesday night at Sovereign Center.

Coleman made several fantastic saves in the game, with his best coming in the second period as he robbed Ned Lukacevic with a glove save from point-blank range to preserve a scoreless game.

The only goal of the game came on the power play at the 14:20 mark of the second period as Jim Henkel knocked in a rebound off the back of Reading goaltender Danny Taylor and into the net.

The Devils' penalty killing unit continued to impress by stopping all of Reading's six power plays, including one late in regulation time. The Devils have now killed their last 23 penalties.

The Devils outshot the Royals 32-29, and went 1-for-4 on the man advantage.

Trenton will continue on the road to Johnstown to play the Chiefs Friday night at 7:05 p.m. Fans can listen to the free audio broadcast on www.trentondevils.com, courtesy of B2 Networks.
