Desperados Clint Dolezel named Offensive Player of the Week

NEW YORK - Dallas Desperados QB CLINT DOLEZEL has been named Offensive Player of the Week for Week 7 of the 2006 season.
Dolezel (6-5, 205, East Texas State), who is in his 11th AFL season, completed 23-of-33 passes for 338 yards with eight touchdowns and one interception in Dallas' 64-35 win at Tampa Bay on Sunday. He also became just the third player in AFL history to throw for 700 touchdowns joining New York's Aaron Garcia and Kansas City's Andy Kelly in the elite club. Dolezel reached the milestone in 125 games, the fastest of the three players.
