
Denny Assigned to Gwinnett from AHL Chicago

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that defenseman Chad Denny has been reassigned to Gwinnett by the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.
The twenty-year old Denny has already made one trip to Gwinnett this season from Chicago playing in three games with the Gladiators from October 27th through 30th. In three games, Denney notched an assists for 1 point. Denny also amassed four penalty minutes and compiled a +2 rating.
Denny, who was drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the second round of the 2005 NHL entry draft, has not yet appeared in a game for the Wolves, but will join the Gladiators for Friday night's game with the South Carolina Stingrays.
The Gladiators continue their fifth anniversary season on Friday, November 16th as they host the South Carolina Stingrays at the Arena at Gwinnett Center at 7:35 p.m. Catch all the play-by-play action in Friday's game via Accessnorthga.com audio stream channel 3.
Celebrating its 20th Anniversary as the Premier 'AA' Hockey League in 2007-08, the ECHL began in 1988-89 with five teams in three states and has grown to be a coast-to-coast league that has 25 teams in 17 states and British Columbia in 2007-08. The 25 teams includes the Mississippi (Biloxi) Sea Wolves, who return after missing two seasons in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and the expansion Elmira (N.Y.) Jackals. The ECHL will play 900 games beginning Oct. 18 and concluding Apr. 5.
