
DeLeon Signs Extension with Toronto FC

Toronto FC announced today that the club has signed midfielder Nick DeLeon to a contract extension through the 2021 MLS season.
"In a short period of time with our club, Nick has had a significant impact both on and off the field," said Toronto FC General Manager Ali Curtis. "Nick is a talented soccer player, but he is also an exceptional human being. We are very happy to extend his contract and ensure he remains part of our club moving forward."
DeLeon, 28, is currently in his eighth season in MLS and first with Toronto FC. This season, he has made five appearances with one goal and three assists between MLS and the Concacaf Champions League. DeLeon was acquired on December 14, 2018 in the first stage of the MLS Re-Entry Draft.
TRANSACTION: Toronto FC signed midfielder Nick DeLeon to a contract extension through the 2021 MLS season.
