Delaware's Lofton Jr. & Bazley Named to Up Next Game

NEW YORK - The NBA G League announced today the full pool of 28 players who will participate in the NBA G League Up Next Game presented by AT&T as part of NBA All-Star Weekend.

Delaware Blue Coats players Kenneth Lofton Jr. and Darius Bazley were both selected to participate. Loften Jr. is averaging 25 points (No. 2 in league), nine rebounds, four assists and two blocks per game for the Blue Coats. Bazley leads the league in blocked shots (3), and averages 17 points, nine rebounds and five assists per game.

The NBA G League Up Next Game presented by AT&T will be held as part of NBA All-Star 2024 on Sunday, February 18 at 1:30 p.m. ET at G League Park in NBA Crossover at the Indiana Convention Center. The event features an exciting new tournament-style format where each team will have its own influencer general manager, who will draft their squad, customize their teams' jersey, and stream the game on their own digital platforms. Four teams of seven players will compete in two semifinal games. The winner of each semifinal will face off in a Championship game.

The teams are made up of 28 NBA G League players, including 10 selected by a fan vote. The remaining 18 players were selected by the NBA G League and include eight members of NBA G League Ignite and one member of the Indiana Mad Ants, the G League affiliate of the All-Star hosting Indiana Pacers. Each team will be coached by a head coach from the NBA G League, to be announced at a later date.

Fans can attend the NBA G League Up Next Game presented by AT&T by purchasing general admission tickets to NBA Crossover, starting at $35 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under. Tickets are available at http://NBAEvents.com and through the NBA Events App, which can be downloaded in the Apple Store or Google Play Store. All seats for the Up Next Game presented by AT&T will be unassigned and on a first-come first-served basis.

The event will stream live on nbagleague.com, the G League App, on the NBA G League's YouTube channel, NBA App, and co-stream on the individual digital platforms of the team's general managers.
